Survival Czech – Intensive Weekend Course in the Summer
Practical course where you study a real-life situation in the classroom and then go and test yourself in the real life.
The course runs from Friday to Sunday, either in the morning (9.00-12.15), or in the afternoon (2.30-5.45 PM).
The morning and afternoon program is different, so you can combine them, if you wish to have a full immersion weekend.
Dates of the Course: 10-12/7 or 14-16/8.
The course is aimed at beginners.
- Course A) 10-12/7 – morning
- Course B) 10-12/7 – afternoon
- Course C) 14-16/8 – morning
- Course D) 14-16/8 – afternoon
As a real-life situation is a part of the course, it is offered only in person, not online. It´s an intensive course with the maximum of 5 students in the group. Please register by at least 1 week in advance (by 3/7 for Courses A and B and by 7/8 for courses C and D).

Course A) 10-12/7 – morning:
- Friday 10/7: “Dám si černou kávu.” (in the restaurant) 9.00-10.30 (at school), 10.45-12.15 (in the restaurant)
- Saturday 11/7: “Kde je hlavní nádraží?” (find your way) 9.00-10.30 (at school), 10.45-12.15 (on the street)
- Sunday 12/7: “Zpáteční do Prahy, prosím.” (buying a ticket) 9.00-10.30 (at school), 10.45-12.15 (at the station)
Course B) 10-12/7 – afternoon:
- Friday 10/7: “Kolik to stojí?” (shopping at the market) 2.30-4.00 PM (at school), 4.15-5.45 PM (at the market)
- Saturday 11/7: “Pomoc, prosím!” (emergency) 2.30-4.00 PM (at school), 4.15-5.45 PM (role-play calling)
- Sunday 12/7: “Bolí mě v krku.” (pharmacy) 2.30-4.00 PM (at school), 4.15-5.45 PM (in a pharmacy)
Course C) 14-16/8 – morning:
